Dear Colleagues, you are invited to take part in a special mobility program offered within the framework of the EMINReM Erasmus+ program. Applications for participation are accepted from February 26 to March 5, 2024.

The program includes a two-week training session on the development of master's programs. Participants in the training commit to taking part in the EMINReM program as professors or lecturers.

The project's aim is to enhance knowledge and collaboration in the field of mining, including mine surveying and metallurgical processes. The program is intended for teachers and researchers of Satbayev University, with travel dates planned from April 21 to May 5 at TU Freiberg, Germany.

TU Freiberg, or the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg), is a technical university located in Freiberg, Germany. The university specializes in education and research in geodesy, mine surveying, mining, metallurgy, ecology, materials science, and other engineering disciplines. TU Freiberg has a long history and a good reputation in the fields of mining and metallurgy.

Selection Criteria:

• Knowledge in the modules of the EMINReM program (see here https://eminrem.ztu.edu.ua/about/)
• Basic education in mining and related fields such as surveying, metallurgy, and ecology.
• Master's degree or equivalent academic degree.
• Proficiency in English.

Candidates will be evaluated based on language proficiency, resume quality, recommendation letters, and motivation letters. The maximum possible score is 12. Preference will be given to applicants from economically vulnerable backgrounds, individuals with disabilities, doctorate holders, candidates in technical sciences, PhDs, as well as employees whose employment contracts expire no later than 2 years from the date of application.
