Nationwide dictation
On 14TH of November 2018, the Committee of Language Policy of the Republic Kazakhstan conducted nationwide dictation with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The specialty of the act that it was the first dictation in written with Latin letters.
The staff of the Satpayev University took an active part in the event. The total number of participants was 157, of which mark of 5 was awarded to 32 attendees, mark 4 to 60 while 65 participant received mark 3. The Vice-Rector for Academic Work, Rinat Iskakov and the Director of the Institute of Basic Education Sarenova Aigul Saparbekovna was among the participants.
The event aimed to promote the new Kazakh alphabet and mastering the Kazakh language skills in Latin writing. The members of the Russian and Kazakh Languages Department, led by Almas Uderbaev Department Head, took an active part in the organization of the event.
