New director of Industrial Engineering Institute of Satbayev University has been appointed

Beknur Omarbekov was introduced as a new director of Industrial Engineering Institute of Satbayev University in November 22, 2018. Beknur Omarbekov is an alumnus of Satbayev University. He took MIT internship and worked at the Munich University. He was the manager of the Center of Competencies “Industry 4.0”. He worked in Kazakhstani Institute of Development where the digitization of economics was his major concern. Rinat Iskhakov - Vice Rector of Academic Affairs took part in the introduction ceremony, wished good luck and made special mention of his professional skills. 

Rinat Iskhakov pointed out: “…together with the Rector of our university we think that Beknur Omarbekov will improve the educational programs and scientific projects’ development. In accordance with the order, we appoint Beknur Omarbekov director of Industrial Engineering Institute”.

Beknur Omarbekov, in turn, expressed his appreciation to the administration for their confidence and informed about the digitization of companies. Beknur Omarbekov pointed out: “I am thankful for Satbayev University being appointed a director of Institute. I worked in different large companies and my position was connected with industrial engineering, machine-building robotization and with the implementation of innovations. Our aim, in accordance with a decree of the President, is to implement new technologies and reach an appropriate level, which would correlate with new educational programs”.
