Satbayev University signed a memorandum of collaboration with “Almaty Electric Power Plants”

Board Chairman at “Almaty Electric Power Plants” Yerik Mashirov and Satbayev University’s Rector Meiram Begentayev signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The signed memorandum is an important step in establishing the long-term and fruitful partnership between University and the large enterprise in the energy industry. The agreement purpose is not only to develop the professional training of students, but also to jointly conduct scientific research, evolve innovative products and implement scientific and technical projects.

Meiram Begentayev expressed confidence that the partnership with “Almaty Electric Power Plants” company will allow University to expand its capabilities in scientific research sphere and professional training of specialists. The joint efforts of both sides will contribute to reaching the new heights in high-tech technologies sphere and will lead to creating the effective solutions to production problems.

Yerik Mashirov, in turn, expressed confiction in successfully expanding the partnership and stressed the significance of working together in science and innovation field. He noted that owing to University's experience and Company's infrastructure, the parties will be able to create advanced technologies and solutions, which contribute to progress not only in their industry, but also in the economy of the republic as a whole.
