Satbayev University at the head of improving the city: students and teachers participate in "Almaty tazalyk" campaign
To make the hometown clean, students and staff of Satbayev University took part in the republican clean-up day and “Almaty tazalyk” campaign. University management called on everyone to actively participate and noted the importance of nature conservation for future generations.
The spring action "Almaty tazalyk" as a massive initiative for landscaping and cleaning of territories was actively supported by teachers and students. This large-scale environmental enterprise, initiated by President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev under the slogan "Taza Kazakhstan", lasts five weeks, each of which is devoted to a specific topic. People clean up their land, plant trees, clean reservoirs, and improve the area around monuments.
This year, Satbayev University joined the campaign with renewed energy, making efforts to create cleanliness not only near the university, but also outside the city. The mass clean-up for Satbayev University is a matter of honor, as such actions help University to remain included in the community, supporting the clean ecology and sustainable development.
