FAI World Cup Stage on unmanned technologies has started in Almaty: Satbayev University is World Championship's co-organizer

One of the most anticipated technological and sporting events of the year, the three Stages of FAI World Cup in aviation technologies and classic sports unmanned systems, officially started today at the Bayserke airfield. Satbayev University is a key venue and co-organizer of the given prestigious international competitions, combining the aviation sports, advanced engineering education and modern unmanned technologies.

Already today, at least 50 of the strongest athletes and engineers from around the world, including the national teams of China, the USA, Germany, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, have taken to the runway of the airfield. From July 6 to July 10, participants will be competing for the title of the best, demonstrating extreme piloting accuracy, speed and the latest engineering solutions in unmanned systems control sphere.

For Satbayev University, the co-organization of the planetary-scale tournament is an important step in evolving the students and young scientists' research potential. Contests of this level allow our future engineers to share their experiences with the world's leading experts, discuss trends in the field of robotics and test advanced elaborations in real field conditions.

Five days of exciting aerial launches, technological challenges and an uncompromising fight for the World Cup are awaiting the participants. Tournament at the Bayserke airfield will be lasting until July 10.
