Satbayev University Faculty Members Participated in the International Conference of the Kazakh Association of English Language Teachers KazAELT

In the second half of August, the second International KazAELT Conference was held within the walls of Satbayev University. The conference was attended by about 460 participants from 14 countries, including Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Karakalpakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey, the UAE, Austria, Ukraine, the USA, South Africa, Serbia, and the United Kingdom. The atmosphere in the hall was incredibly energetic and inspiring.

The presentations and discussions covered a wide range of topics, from teacher well-being to the latest developments in artificial intelligence. The participants focused on key aspects such as quality education for all, social justice, sustainable development in language learning, and the creation of a more inclusive and progressive educational environment.

Special attention was given to the presentation of the first special issue of the KazAELT journal — the first publication in Kazakhstan dedicated to English language teachers, which marked a significant step towards promoting inclusion and equity in education.

The KazAELT team expresses its deep gratitude to Macmillan Education, Oxford University Press, Study Inn, the British Council, and Satbayev University, whose Project Management Institute team participated in organizing the conference.
The next conference is scheduled for June 2025 and will take place in the city of Turkestan.
