Training of specialists in the field of additive technologies. Graduates receive Academic Master's degree in engineering and technology for 1.5 years of study or Master of technical sciences for 2 years.
Additive technology is a relatively young but very popular area. Growth potential of these technologies is high and is able to speed up scientific and technological progress development - scientific laboratories due to 3D printers create innovative materials and fabrics. Additive technologies application in industry allows manufacturers to accelerate prototyping of new samples and shorten the path from idea to implementation.
You will learn how to create and adjust computer (digital) models, organize and conduct technological process of creating products due to computer (digital) models on installations for additive manufacturing, and using, repairing installations for additive manufacturing.
Students obtain practical skills in 30 specialized laboratories furnished with modern equipment and instruments, computer equipment and software. Training uses the latest computer-aided design systems of international level, such as ADEM, SolidWorks, Autodesk, Compass 3D, MSC Nastran, Comsol Multiphysics, and APM Win Machine. For students of the given EP, material and technical base was modernized - new expensive equipment was purchased, there appeared additive technologies section, contactless digitization laboratory, mechatronics, and automation room.
The institute interacts with many foreign technical universities and maintains contacts with professors from TFH University Georg Agricola (Germany), Pennsylvania State University, University of Loraine, AGH University of Science and Technology, CAUST, University of Texas, Braunswille, Liaoning University of Science and Technology (China) and others. Students have international practice in technical universities around the world.
Graduates are in demand in engineering and transport industries, at enterprises for manufacturing functional, metallic and nanoscale materials, in design bureaus, and research institutes, they occupy senior positions in state structures as well.
