How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.
"Pharmaceutical engineering" interdisciplinary degree program is aimed at training masters of technical sciences for the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries. Program combines knowledge in the fields of engineering, pharmaceutical technologies, quality management, digital technologies and sustainable development, forming specialists who are able to effectively solve modern production and scientific and technological problems.
Degree program combines an engineering approach to elaborating and organizing the pharmaceutical industries with present-day methods of mathematical modeling, data analysis, digitalization and automation of technological processes. Particular attention is paid to executing the international GMP standards, quality assurance systems, risk management, validation of production processes and equipment, as well as issues of environmental safety and cost-effectiveness of drug production.
You will study contemporary areas of pharmaceutical engineering, including synthetic, biotechnological and herbal medicine production technologies, pharmaceutical quality systems, risk management, process validation and equipment qualification, regulatory and legal regulation and international GMP requirements. Special attention is paid to the engineering design of pharmaceutical industries, drug delivery systems, quality control, analytical methods and digital technologies in pharmaceutical production.
You will master the methods of elaborating, optimizing and scaling the technological processes for producing the medicines, learn how to validate production processes and analytical techniques, apply modern approaches to quality assurance and management of pharmaceutical enterprises. During the training, you will gain skills in working with technological equipment, laboratory installations, control and measuring devices, as well as state-of-the-art software tools for data analysis, mathematical modeling and Data Science.
Program provides for research and teaching practice, master's thesis, participation in scientific research and applied projects aimed at solving urgent issues of the pharmaceutical industry and the introduction of innovative technologies.
Program graduates are in demand at enterprises of the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries, in research institutes, drug development centers, quality control laboratories, regulatory organizations and higher educational institutions. They can work as pharmaceutical manufacturing process engineers, quality assurance and GMP specialists, equipment validation and qualification experts, drug registration specialists, pharmaceutical manufacturing design engineers, R&D specialists, quality system auditors, researchers and higher school teachers as well.
