  • How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?

    1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.

    2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.

    3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.

    4. The code in "Study trajectories" column is not necessary to use. It is shown for the convenience and to compare the code of specialties of previous years (until 2019) and the new code of educational programs (“Groups of educational programs” column).

Training of specialists at oil-gas processing, petrochemical industries and enterprises for the production and processing of polymers, materials and devices. The graduate receives "Bachelor of Engineering and Technology" academic degree.

The petrochemical industry is a capital-intensive, high-tech industry in which chemical products are obtained on the basis of hydrocarbon, oil and gas raw materials. This is a link between the oil-gas complex and processing industries and has a great economic, social and environmental effect.

The program provides for the passage of introductory, production and pre-graduate practices in the field of chemical engineering and processes at the enterprises of Association of Producers and Consumers of petrochemical products.

An in-depth study of a foreign language is provided, which will allow completing the program in one of three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.

Graduates work in various spheres of industry, such as the field of modern technologies for processing hydrocarbons, oil and gas raw materials into target products, reagents and new polymer materials.
