Satbayev University conducts vocational guidance for schoolchildren from the regions
Department of metallurgical processes, heat engineering and technology of special materials is actively conducting the vocational guidance work in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. Head of the department Tatyana Chepushtanova and department professors met with 10th and 11the grades’ pupils of Mukhamet Shayakhmetov school # 23 and answered all their questions about studying at Satbayev University, discussed degree programs in the field of metallurgy and creation of a career guidance center at the school.
Department representatives shared with the pupils the information related to professional areas available at the department, opportunities and prospects for training in the field of metallurgy, thermal engineering and technology of special materials and about the prospects for professional growth in these areas, in the field of automation and digitalization of metallurgical processes.
The event was organized with the support of Ust-Kamenogorsk titanium and magnesium combine, the director of school # 23 Nurgul Tarina, Education Department in Ust-Kamenogorsk city and Education Department of East Kazakhstan region. This important event provided the pupils with the opportunity to get useful information about choosing a future profession and preparing for university admission.
