Satbayev University welcomes future leaders: "Young Satbayev" intellectual game was held at the university
Satbayev University annually organizes a search for young talents who are able to show their knowledge and intellectual qualities. The final of the intellectual game for schoolchildren "Young Satbayev" in 2024 among the graduating students was dedicated to 90th anniversary of the founding of the first technical university, as well as 125th anniversary of the birth of the great scientist Kanysh Satbayev. The main prize was a grant for free tuition at Satbayev University, the country's first technical university.
The game focuses on technical subjects - mathematics, physics, chemistry, the game is held in Kazakh and Russian languages. Students should not only show their knowledge, but also be able to use their creative abilities, speed of thinking, quick wit, and the ability to see various solutions.
"Young Satbayev" is not only an opportunity for schoolchildren to demonstrate their knowledge and intellectual abilities, but also to discover rich prospects at the very beginning of their career. Satbayev University actively supports young scientists and engineers by providing them with such opportunities.
Opening the game and wishing the victory to the participants, Satbayev University’s Rector Meiram Begentayev said:
- We now see in you our future colleagues with "Student of the Kazakh National Research Technical University" high title, emphasizing that the game binds generations together, which was once again confirmed by the game itself. The winner of "Young Satbayev III" game in 2024 was Temirkhan Sardar, a native of Pavlodar region’s Bayanaul district, which is near the birthplace of Kanysh Satbayev.
The first technical university uses intellectual games for schoolchildren not just to find talented future engineers, but also turns it into a powerful tool for shaping the future technological progress. Supporting the development of intelligence and creative thinking contributes to the training of a new generation of innovators and leaders in science and technology sphere. "Young Satbayev" game is being held for the third time, and the university intends to continue working in the given direction, to look for new ways to attract and support young talents in the future.
