Satbayev University’s scientists presented the ecology projects to Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yerlan Nyssanbayev
Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yerlan Nyssanbayev paid an official visit to Satbayev University and met with University’s scientists. At the meeting, the participants discussed the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals in the field of ecology, the solution of existing problems, as well as technologies and tools designed to solve them.
Scientists presented to Minister their projects contributing to the conservation of natural resources. Minister noted the large amount of work done and the significance of innovations to improve the environment and clean up the existing pollution.
— We must work together with scientists, - Yerlan Nyssanbayev said at the meeting. — I am very glad to see that National University demonstrates a new model of interaction with production and government. Scientists should be at the forefront. We are ready to make inquiries to your scientists and introduce new technologies to improve the lives of our country’s population.
University scientists presented their best environmental projects to Minister. One of the projects presented was the project of unmanned drones by Alexey Oksiyenko, who noted that drones are well suited for solving the environmental problems, extinguishing fires, saving water and others.
Alongside, there were presented such projects as the serial production of charging stations for electric vehicles by Ruslan Utebayev, "green" mini-hydroelectric power station by Saken Tuyebayev, the program for identifying and eliminating foci of contamination with petroleum products of soils and groundwater by Gulmira Kezembayeva, the technology of waste processing of thermal power plants by Marzhan Nurpeissova, and new methods of water purification from pollution by Aida Ismagulova.
Vice-Rector for Administrative, Social and Educative Work of University Sapar Shalabayev told the Minister that in order to integrate science, education and production, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev initiated the creation of the new technologies research hub at Satbayev University - it was thanks to this step that a breakthrough in the technology field became possible.
At the end of the meeting, Minister thanked everyone for the work done, which promises significant progress in conservation of ecology and natural resources field.
