Program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the field of modern geophysical technologies and digital methods in mineral exploration.

Program is implemented in the format of the 1.5-year master's degree program and combines fundamental knowledge in the geophysics field with practical skills in digital processing and analysis of geological data.

Undergraduates master the physical-geological foundations of geophysical methods, modern technologies for recording, processing and interpreting the geophysical information, including computer modeling methods. Particular attention is paid to working with large amounts of data, training in the use of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to improve forecast accuracy and identify patterns in geophysical processes. In the course of their studies, students also gain skills in working with geographic information systems that allow them to integrate, visualize and analyze data of various origins to build a comprehensive geological and geophysical picture of the studied objects.

Graduates successfully work in exploration companies, research institutes, service and engineering organizations that require expertise in digital geophysics, data processing and interpretation, as well as the introduction of innovative approaches in the exploration of mineral resources.
