School of transport engineering and logistics named after M. Tynyshpayev

The school trains engineers for the transport, transport infrastructure and logistics industry. Graduates of the school are in demand in various spheres - from transport and logistics to railways.

Specialists are trained by qualified professors, as well as by specialists from large transport and logistics companies with extensive practical experience.

The school actively carries out international activities, maintains close relations with institutes of the USA, China, Europe, Russia, Poland, as well as with domestic and foreign enterprises. Among the permanent partners of the school are the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan "KazLogistics", Research Institute of Transport and Communication, International Centre for Border Cooperation "Khorgos-Eastern Gate", as well as the companies "Zhebe Logistics" and Deutsche Bahn Engineering&Consulting DB Cargo.

The school trains engineers in two areas: transport engineering and logistics. Graduates of the direction "Transport Engineering" get skills in the field of design and service of road and railway transport, traffic management and work as engineers at transport and machine-building plants producing transport machinery and equipment; at companies operating and maintaining transport equipment.

Graduates of the direction "Logistics" get skills in the field of development of transport systems, organisation of multimodal transportations, production, warehouse and transport logistics, work with modern information systems and technologies in the field of logistics, analysis and modelling of material flows, database development and can work in forwarding services and transport and logistics companies.

Students of the school of all directions get skills of work in CADS programs, study programming and modelling, get skills necessary for work at   transport and logistics enterprises and organisations, as well as in research organisations.

Graduates of the school work as engineers and logisticians at such enterprises as "SaryArkaAutoprom", "Astana Motors", "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", "Holding-Trans-Pavlodar", "Oil Transport Corporation", "Eurotransit Logistic", "Aksaiavtotrans", "Kazavtotrans", as well as in various production and research organisations in the field of transport and logistics.

All programmes of the school are compiled in accordance with European requirements and are internationally accredited by the ASIIN agency (Germany), the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IKAQAE) and the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR).

Bachelor's programme "Transport Services" is the only programme at Satbayev University that has passed international professional accreditation by the European Logistics Association (Brussels, Belgium), which gives the school the  possibility to issue CeLog international professional certificate to its graduates.
