How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.
Training of specialists in the field of transport and logistics process management due to advanced information systems and technologies (cloud computing, block chain, artificial intelligence, RFID, Internet of things, etc.). The profession’s novelty lies in the ability to solve traditional logistics tasks using modern digital technologies.
Students study the theory of management related to various material, information, service and other resources in economic systems, organizational forms and management methods, methods of optimizing the process of moving resources from the place of their origin to consumption place.
Students learn to develop supply chains, logistics processes based on the use of modern information technologies, develop logistics processes, promptly coordinate supply routes, manage logical processes based on various digital tools, analyze the state of the supply chain and develop proposals for its improvement.
The skills acquired include the possession of tools regarding the economic and mathematical modeling, system analysis, methods of making optimal decisions, strategic planning, modeling and analysis of digital supply chains.
Graduates work in transport, logistics and large manufacturing companies, dealing not just with operational work, but also with strategic tasks to improve business processes in supply chains, reorganize logistics in companies. Logisticians work at enterprises, in trade and services, in transport and forwarding companies, as well as in logistics centers, warehouse complexes and terminals.
