How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.
An innovative degree program aimed at preparing PhD students capable of elaborating and operationally managing projects in the field of sustainable development of land transport infrastructure, the given program includes thorough training in methodology and research in accordance with sustainable development goals.
The basic and specialized training consists of the following disciplines: "Research methods", "Academic writing", "Innovation Management in transport", "Science of Sustainable Transport", "Sustainable development of transport infrastructure", etc.
Doctoral students receive skills such as the ability to organize the work of a production group, make organizational and managerial decisions in elaborating and implementing the technical projects aimed at improving the transport infrastructure facilities.
Graduates can work in government agencies, academies of sciences, scientific organizations, universities, experimental design bureaus, and enterprises of the transport and communication complex. They work as researchers, analyst investigator scientists, designers, managers of transport or transport infrastructure companies, managers as well as innovation development managers.
