For the visually impaired
An accessible digital environment helps the visually impaired to gain access to all educational materials and feel comfortable at the university.
- Campus is adapted for visually impaired students and equipped with tactile tracks, Braille mnemonics
- University's website and mobile applications are adapted to the needs of visually impaired students
- University provides access to IPR books WV-Reader application for voicing the educational materials, and Soile App for voicing the interface
The inclusive center provides additional access to modern equipment:
- “Alice” smart assistant for voice navigation to the automatic lighting system.

- Possibility of distance learning for medical reasons.
- Access to online courses with international certificates.
- The opening of separate inclusive groups for admission of at least 7 students.
For the hard of hearing
An accessible digital environment helps students with hearing loss to communicate with teachers and feel comfortable at the university.
A sign language interpreter and a sound amplifier are provided during the lectures. Online lectures, transcripts, and e-books are also available to help students learn the material freely.
The university also has its first group, consisting entirely of hearing-impaired students - such groups gather at the university as they are admitted.
For citizens with limited mobility
University is equipped with an accessible learning environment adapted to the needs of students with limited mobility. Ramps, elevators and wide doorways are provided in the academic buildings, allowing for free movement around the campus.
The buildings have comfortable bathrooms and safe recreation areas. Thanks to this, students can feel comfortable and focus on learning and development, rather than on overcoming barriers.
We strive to ensure that every student, regardless of their health status, has access to educational and research opportunities, participates in student life, and fulfills their potential.
IPR BOOKS electronic library system has developed and provides a special mobile application for people with visual impairments. You can use it to get acquainted with IPR BOOKS and other books.
Application has an expanded interface, a three-color design scheme, voiced controls and voice feedback from the user.
Available for mobile devices based on Android and iOS operating systems.
The first Kazakhstani screen reader created to improve digital accessibility and the ability to work on a computer or laptop for blind and visually impaired people. It provides high-quality voice acting and translation into 3 languages (Russian, English, Kazakh). Access to the application is provided under University’s license.
A dormitory adapted for students with special needs
Dormitory is equipped for visually impaired students and is adapted to the needs of students in wheelchairs.
Ramps and elevators are equipped in three buildings of the university.
Adapted bathrooms and dining rooms.

Soile app program for interface vocalization is installed.
