How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.

Training of in-demand specialists in the field of design, operation, maintenance and repair of railway rolling stock. Graduates will receive “Master of Engineering and Technology” academic degree while training during 1.5 years or “Master of Technical Sciences” while training during 2 years.
Students study methods of system analysis, mathematical statistics and modeling, as well as innovative technologies for designing rolling stock structures, due to concept of life cycle cost reduction, resource and energy conservation based on international quality standards.
Students learn to make strategic and managerial decisions and solve problems to optimize the design and technical-operational parameters of rolling stock, in order to ensure traffic safety and efficiency of rolling stock usage.
Master students undergo practice and internship in the leading companies of Kazakhstan - “Kamkor-Vagon”, “Kamkor-Locomotive”, “Design and Experimental Center” and KTZH various divisions as well.
Graduates work as engineers for operation, maintenance and repair of rolling stock, heads of departments of railway transport organization, heads of traffic safety service on railway transport, organizing production processes of operation, maintenance and repair of rolling stock based on forecasting its reliability indicators due to modern diagnostic methods.
