How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.
Program is aimed at training qualified specialists in the field of cadastral registration, land management, territorial planning and rational management of land resources.
The curriculum combines technical, legal and digital disciplines, providing comprehensive training. You will study the methods of cadastral measurements, registration of land rights, principles of sustainable use of territories, as well as the legal and regulatory framework of cadaster and spatial planning.
You will learn the ways of working with geodetic instruments, geo-information systems, and use satellite imagery and aerial photography to monitor land conditions. Alongside, you will master the technology of digital mapping, territorial plan modeling, and land data analysis. The program focuses on the integrated approach to territorial management, integrating the knowledge from geodesy, ecology, economics, law and engineering.
Students master the skills of interdisciplinary interaction, learn to work in a team, present and justify project solutions. The educational process includes professional practice in specialized organizations, as well as participation in academic exchanges with universities in China, the USA and Russia.
Graduates of the program are in demand in public and private structures involved in cadastral activities, territorial planning, land use and urbanism. They work as cadastral engineers, geographic information system specialists, land use analysts, and project managers in the urban planning and land management sphere.
