How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.
Modern training program for specialists in the field of surveying, geodetic, topographic, astronomical-geodetic, photogrammetric and cartographic work using current equipment and digital geospatial technologies.
Educational process includes mastering the theoretical foundations of surveying, geodesy and cartography, studying the regulatory framework, methods of field and camera measurements, technologies for processing and interpreting spatial data, as well as the preparation of technical documentation and scientific reports.
Students are trained to execute surveying and geodetic measurements, determine the spatial and geometric parameters of objects, work with geographic information systems, analyze and model spatial structures, apply satellite and aerospace data to monitor territories and improve mining safety.
Program highlights the evolvement of practice-oriented competencies, managerial and analytical skills, as well as the ability for interdisciplinary interaction and teamwork.
