  • How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?

    1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.

The degree program aimed at training young scientists in the field of building materials science, capable of conducting fundamental and applied research on creating, modifying and applying the current building materials. The graduate is awarded doctor of PhD academic degree in the profile.

The program focuses on interdisciplinary research, including physical-chemical hardening processes, microstructural analysis, rheological characteristics and environmental safety of building compositions. Doctoral students elaborate innovative concrete formulations, including high-strength, self-sealing, environmentally resistant and environmentally friendly materials.

The educational trajectory is focused on evolving the research and analytical competencies. Program includes participation in research projects, publications in international peer-reviewed journals, internships abroad at partner universities, as well as preparation and defense of a dissertation under the supervision of two scientific supervisors - domestic and foreign ones.

The field of professional activity covers scientific research and applied developments in the field of building materials, testing, standardization and quality control, design of new types of materials and implementation of innovative technologies in the construction industry.

Graduates of the program become specialists capable of elaborating new-generation materials with improved characteristics, applying the modern analysis methods, modeling and optimizing hardening and structure formation processes, and conducting research, expert, and educational activities.

You will gain unique knowledge and skills in the field of modern construction chemistry, nanotechnology, sustainable construction and digital methods of materials science. You will become a part of the professional community of scientists working on the tasks of sustainable development and "green" construction.

Graduates of the program successfully find jobs as teachers, researchers, design engineers and experts at universities, research centers, public and private organizations in the construction industry, as well as become initiators of their own start-ups and innovative projects.
