Satbayev University Hosted a Discussion on the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan

Satbayev University hosted a roundtable discussion titled “Artificial Intelligence: University – Science – Industry,” which brought together representatives from the academic community, business, and research centers to discuss key areas of artificial intelligence development and its practical implementation in Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by leading industry experts, including IG Space, Alian Systems, Tensor AI, and Neckarwiese, as well as representatives from universities and scientific organizations such as the International Information Technology University, AlmaU, the Farabi AI Center, the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies, and META University.

During the plenary session and subsequent discussion, participants addressed issues related to the architectural application of AI in business, the development of digital assistants, the use of multi-agent systems, the transformation of education and intellectual labor in the AGI era, the integration of artificial intelligence into educational processes—including adaptive and personalized learning models—as well as ensuring the security of industrial and cyber-physical systems. Particular attention was paid to the integration of AI into the university ecosystem, knowledge management, the application of intelligent technologies in monitoring and analytics, as well as the development of new competencies and the training of specialists in demand in the digital economy.

Participants presented real-world case studies, exchanged experiences, and outlined practical steps for developing cooperation between universities, academia, and industry. The roundtable resulted in the consolidation of expert opinions and the development of recommendations aimed at strengthening the role of universities as centers of innovation and drivers of artificial intelligence implementation in various sectors of Kazakhstan’s economy and society.
