How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
Training of engineers in the field of geology of hydrocarbon raw materials, conducting prospecting and exploration work and preparation for developing the deposits of these minerals.
Students study geology, geochemistry and geophysics, concentrating on key aspects of the geology of oil, natural gas, solid, liquid minerals, as well as operational work on deposits of combustible minerals, and gain design skills analyzing the results of geophysical, geological, geochemical and engineering-geological work.
Students learn to conduct geological surveys and observations in the field, technological calculations, analyze the results of geological, geochemical and geophysical studies, select equipment and design it using modern computer technologies and programs.
Students undergo practical training, where they get acquainted with technologies and equipment of modern high-tech production, as well as technological processes in hydrocarbon sector sphere, in order to learn geological maintenance of deposits of combustible minerals as a result;
Graduates work as geologists studying deposits of combustible minerals at industrial enterprises, conduct search and exploration of combustible minerals, explore promising areas of hydrocarbon deposits.
