10 Faculty Members of Satbayev University Awarded the Bolashak Scholarship for Scientific Internships

By the decision of the Republican Commission for Training Specialists Abroad, 182 researchers have been awarded the international Bolashak Scholarship under the Scientific Internship Program. Among the recipients are professors and faculty members of Satbayev University:

2. Akmaral Omarhanovna Baisalova — Head of the Department of Geology
3. Gulnaz Ergeshkyzy — Associate Professor
4. Raushan Galimzhanovna Temirkhanovna — Associate Professor
5. Arailym Kairoladakyzy Kalymbet — Senior Lecturer
6. Asilkhan Zairakhanuly Abu — Senior Lecturer
7. Aidana Muratkyzy Bazarbay — Lecturer
8. Azat Kabdullin — Lecturer
9. Maksat Kabdullin — Lecturer
10. Nazym Toktarkhanovna Akkazina — Lecturer

Faculty members of Satbayev University will undertake scientific internships in 2026 at leading international universities, including Pennsylvania State University (USA), City University of Hong Kong, and the University of California, Davis (USA).

It is worth noting that in 2024, nine professors from Satbayev University successfully completed their scientific internships at Penn State (USA). In September 2025, an additional ten faculty members began their internships at the same institution, which ranks 82nd among the world’s top universities according to the QS World University Rankings.
