British professor Ramona Blanes joins Satbayev University

Satbayev University is pleased to welcome Dr. Ramona Blanes, a visiting professor from the University of Glasgow (United Kingdom).

Ramona has more than 20 years of experience working in senior positions in financial services and management consultancy organisations. She has worked in Asia and Europe with clients and colleagues in Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America, and the Middle East.

Ramona has an MBA specialising in Islamic Banking and Finance. Her PhD research explored the concept of Public Value and Public Sector Reforms through the lens of Intelligent Transportation Systems.

During the Fall semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, Dr. Blanes is teaching at the Department of Management and Mathematical Economics within the Institute of Project Management and providing research guidance to master’s and doctoral students.
