Grand opening of the student Media laboratory took place at Satbayev University

Satbayev University hosted the grand opening of Satbayev University Media Hub, a modern space where students can study, create and implement their own ideas. Laboratory is equipped with the professional recording studio and podcast area where interviews with leading scientists and experts from Kazakhstan will take place.

Project was implemented with the support of National Bank of Kazakhstan. Vadim Kablov, Director of Almaty branch, noted that University's initiative impresses with its creativity and scale:

"Any idea, any business here is done thoroughly, creatively and with a soul. I am glad that young people are inspired by such projects and are ready to create new knowledge and expertise," he said.

Satbayev University is not just a place of study, but also a platform for developing the talents and generating ideas, created as part of executing the instructions of the state’s President to establish a creative industry in Kazakhstan.

"We must create all conditions for the large-scale development of creative economy in our country. It is the creative economy that is becoming the driving force behind the evolvement of large cities that attract talented, inventive people," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in his message to Kazakhstan’s people. The given concept has been the basis for many ingenious initiatives of the university aimed at developing our country’s engineering elite.

The new media lab will become a center of attraction for young people, combining the education, creativity and inspiration. Now new projects will be born here, fresh podcasts will be heard and inspiring stories that will change the future will appear as well.
