IAIT students took 1st place at HackNU 2026
Students of Satbayev University Automation and Information Technology Institute (IAIT) as part of SUvIT team took 1st place in Higgsfield ML/DS track at HackNU 2026 international hackathon, which took place on April 4-5 at Nazarbayev University (Astana). HackNU Hackathon is a 24-hour competition in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering and Growth Management, where participants develop technological solutions and projects. The prize fund of the event was 2,800,000 tenge.
The winning team consisted of IAIT students:
- Vorozheikin Vyacheslav Yurievich
- Satybaldin Yessenkeldi Askhatuly
Following the hackathon, the SUvIT team presented the project in Higgsfield ML/DS track and took first place, demonstrating a high level of training, skills in developing and applying machine learning and data analysis technologies.
