International AI ED Summit at SU: The Digital Future of Higher Education
Satbayev University hosted the International AI ED Summit, dedicated to the digital transformation of higher education and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process. A highlight of the event was the presentation of the innovative edtool platform, developed by Learnetic.
International experts in the field of educational technology participated in the discussion, including edtool Regional Operations Manager Filip Hoynacki and Helena Pachuska, Business Development Director at the international agency Nuviolink. They presented practical case studies of digital solutions implemented at universities in various countries and discussed the potential for adapting such tools within Kazakhstan’s education system.
Summit participants were shown the edtool platform’s features, including the automatic generation of learning materials, the creation of interactive assignments and personalized courses, as well as built-in analytics tools for monitoring student performance. Particular attention was paid to reducing content preparation time, multilingual support, and data security.
Experts noted that the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies opens up new opportunities for improving the quality of education and developing the digital educational environment. For Satbayev University, this means strengthening international cooperation and training professionals capable of working in the context of rapid technological transformation. In a broader context, such initiatives contribute to the digitalization of the economies of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, the development of science and education, and align with sustainable development goals, including ensuring quality and accessible education.
