Kazakhstani athletes with Satbayev University’s support won medals at the World Taekwondo Championships

In early October, 23^rd ITF World Taekwondo Championships were held in Jesolo (Italy). It was attended by the best athletes from all over the world, including young representatives of Kazakhstan from SAQ Team sports club, who performed with the support of Satbayev University.

Five team members adequately represented the country and won prizes. Medina Aitmakhan became the bronze medalist in the individual competition (up to 45 kg), and Zere Duissen and Aidar Assylbek took bronze in the team competition. The rest of the athletes showed a high level of training and athletic spirit, which became the basis for future victories.

Satbayev University’s support played an important role in this success. University consistently develops youth sports, creating the opportunities for physical and personal growth of students. Such initiatives contribute to promoting the health and quality education evolvement, which is consistent with sustainable development principles.
