KAZNRTU MARKS 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF DOSYM SULEYEV
On March 7 Satpaev KAZNRTU held a solemn celebration of Honorary rector, DEA, professor, NAS RK academician, a talented musician and the founder of a legendary group "Dos Mukasan" Dosym Suleyev. Colleagues, government and public officials, numerous students and friends came to congratulate Dosym Kasymovich on his 70th birthday.
NAS RK President Murat Zhurinov who carried on the official part of the evening said, “Only people dedicated to science and really committed to it can develop science. Dosym Suleev was always hungry for knowledge, he left art for science. Even great fame of "Dos Mukasan" did not divert him, despite the fact that all ways to musical Olympus were opened before him."
Head of rector’s office B.Mukhtybaev read out Iskander Beisembetov’s birthday greetings on behalf of Satpaev University. Al-Farabi university rector Galimkair Mutanov presented Dosym Suleyev with KazNU gold medal.Academicians B.Rakishev, E.Shaikhutdinov, D.Kshibekova, professor A.Ashimov heartily congratulated the anniversary celebrant and wished him good health and further creative success.
