On March 1, on Thanksgiving Day, Satbayev University hosted Republican festival "Zhaidarman" "Satbayev Cup-90", dedicated to 125^th anniversary of Academician Kanysh Satbayev and University’s 90^th anniversary. 8 teams from all over Kazakhstan played in the festival, including two teams from Satbayev University - Atlant SU Ulttyk league "Zhaidarman" and Alatau SU Major League "Zhaidarman"!

The winners of Satbayev Cup were three teams that demonstrated incredible talent and impressive teamwork:

1. "Energo", Almaty

2. "Zhualy", Zhambyl region

3. "Alatau SU", Almaty

On behalf of Satbayev University, the winners were awarded cash prizes, the total prize fund amounted to 1,800,000 tenge.

This year, "Zhaidarman" has been held in Kazakhstan for 25^th time. It began as a club where Kazakhstani youth demonstrated their talents, sense of humor and resourcefulness, and over time became a platform where thousands of active young people realized their dreams.

The best creative experts who are on the jury help them in this as well.

Festival’s main guest was the legendary TV presenter, president of "Kazakhstan KVN Union" Yessen Yeleuken. He was joined by Major League champion, film actor and screenwriter Yerkebulan Myrzabek, showman and producer Marat Oralgazin, actress and blogger Dana Yesseyeva, who graduated from Satbayev University and played in KVN here, and Satbayev University’s Rector Meiram Begentayev.
