Outstanding scientist Nurlan Dosmukhamedov awarded the “Ғылымға сіңірген еңбегі үшін” badge posthumously

At Satbayev University, a ceremonial event was held to present the “Ғылымға сіңірген еңбегі үшін” (For Contribution to Science) badge posthumously to the outstanding scientist, educator, and mentor Nurlan Kalievich Dosmukhamedov. The award was handed over to his family members in recognition of his remarkable contribution to science and the training of a new generation of specialists.

Throughout his professional life, Nurlan Kalievich devoted himself to the university – from student to professor, from a young researcher to a recognized authority in the field of metallurgy and mineral processing. His dedication to science, tireless work, and genuine care for educating students became a true example for colleagues and students alike.

On behalf of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the award was presented by the Rector of the university, Meiram Mukhametrakhimovich Begentayev. The scientist’s family and relatives accepted the honor with deep emotion and gratitude. The ceremony was also attended by Vice-Rector for Science and Corporate Development Erzhan Itimenovich Kuldeyev, faculty members of the Department of Metallurgy and Mineral Processing, as well as colleagues and students of Nurlan Kalievich.

Speakers warmly recalled the professor, emphasizing his high professionalism, his contribution to the development of a scientific school, and his role in training highly qualified specialists. Particular attention was given to his dedication to sharing knowledge, inspiring students, and instilling not only professional skills but also the high moral principles of a true scientist. “The memory of Nurlan Kalievich – an outstanding scientist and a wise mentor – will forever remain in the hearts of the entire academic community of the university and our country,” the Rector noted.

The ceremony became more than just an award presentation. It served as a reminder that a true scientist lives on in every student, in every discovered formula, and in every heart in which he ignited the flame of knowledge. Nurlan Kalievich Dosmukhamedov has passed away, but his legacy – the living energy of science and pedagogical excellence – will continue to inspire future generations.
