Satbayev University achievement marathon: Nessipbai Tussupbayev was awarded "Kurmet"order

Satbayev University’s scientific community continues to accept high state awards. Following the news about the systematic support of young researchers, it became known about the recognition of the merits of the academic elite’s outstanding representative. Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev personally presented "Kurmet" order to the doctor of technical sciences, professor Nessipbai Kuandykovich Tussupbayev.

A man of science and a leader of production

Nessipbai Tussupbayev is the head of Enrichment and flotation reagents laboratory at Satbayev University JSC “ Metallurgy and Enrichment Institute.” His long-term career has been devoted to solving critical problems of the mining and metallurgical complex. Under his leadership, unique technologies for processing raw materials are being created, which allow domestic enterprises to work more efficiently and more environmentally friendly.

Engineering personnel is the foundation of intellectual potential

During the ceremony, State’s Head paid close attention to the training of qualified engineering and technical personnel. President emphasized the special responsibility of universities in creating the intellectual potential of the nation. Only the high-quality work of educational institutions such as Satbayev University enables us to ensure the regular reproduction of professionals in their field.

K.K. Tokayev also noted the importance of rethinking the legacy of great thinkers - Al-Farabi, Ahmed Yassawi, Abai. Their ideas should be actualized in the context of modern realities, becoming a spiritual guide for the technical intelligentsia.

Addressing the scientists, President outlined the sacred duty to future generations - to leave an Advanced, Strong and Fair state as a legacy. State’s Head stressed that this can be achieved only through the united work of the entire nation.

Special hopes are pinned on education, science, and progressive-minded youth. President stated that the flourishing of national science will open up horizons of unlimited possibilities for Kazakhstan, and the enormous potential of scientists such as professor Tussupbayev will become the engine of this progress.

“Kurmet” medal is a well-deserved appreciation of the work of Nessipbai Kuandykovich. His example proves that science and education are the main key to the society’s prosperity today," was noted at the university.
