Satbayev University hosted 29th General Assembly of European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE)

Important events organized by Central Asian Association for Educational Accreditation (CAAAE) took place at Satpayev University and European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE). Within their framework, International Workshop "Requirements for accreditation agencies of ENAEE network" and 29^th General Assembly of ENAEE were held.

The first heads of 16 accreditation agencies from 15 countries, such as Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Great Britain and others, as well as domestic international experts in the field of quality assurance of engineering education took part in the work of General Assembly.

The meeting was opened by Rector Satpayev University M. Begentayev, who noted the importance of University's participation in international accreditation and expressed confidence that this contributes to the successful careers of students and to improving the quality of engineering education in the region. Rector also stressed the significance of EUR-ACE accreditation as an important tool to ensure the high level of training for engineers.

In his speech, ENAEE President Jose Carlos Quadrado stressed the importance of further strengthening the international cooperation and developing the accreditation of engineering degree programs throughout Europe and beyond. He noted that he will continue to work on expanding and deepening the cooperation between European Union and Central Asia, opening up new career opportunities for students in the region.

Professor Jose Carlos Quadrado is the chief architect of a number of large-scale projects aimed at improving the accreditation of engineering degree programs, especially in Central Asia.  In turn, ENAEE events play an important role in the integration of Europe and Central Asia, providing the platform for exchanging the experience and the growth of the engineering education quality.
