Satbayev University hosted Inauguration Ceremony for first-year students in 2025

A grand “Student Dedication” took place at Satbayev University, an event that annually unites first-year students and symbolizes the beginning of their journey in the world of science and engineering. The students took the oath, promising to honorably bear the title of Satbayev University student, and received from the hands of senior students the symbols of their new life - a student ID, a key of knowledge and a treble clef, embodying the harmony of science and creativity.

On this day, University's Rector Meiram Begentayev, took the stage to personally congratulate the first-year students and wish them success in their studies and scientific endeavors. He was joined by the institutes’ directors  and other representatives of University. The presenter recalled the outstanding graduates of  Polytech University - engineers, scientists and inventors, whose discoveries and works have made a huge contribution to Kazakhstan’s evolvement.

As a sign of generational continuity, the students took over the baton from their predecessors, creating a three-dimensional portrait of Kanysh Satbayev, the founder of the Kazakh geological school and the inspiration for entire generations of engineers. This symbolic act became an expression of gratitude to the great scientist and a promise to continue his work on the path of knowledge and creation.

“Student Dedication” became an important event for the first-year students of Satbayev University. The solemn ceremony symbolized the beginning of their journey in the world of science and technology, where, along with professional knowledge, future engineers learn to appreciate the cultural heritage and spiritual values of Kazakhstan.
