Satbayev University invites participants to a seminar on SDG-aligned scholarly publications

Satbayev University’s Institute of Project Management invites students, postgraduate researchers, and faculty to the online research seminar “SDGs in Scholarly Publications,” which will be held on October 20, 2025 at 17:30.

The session topic is “How to Write an Effective Journal Paper — with SDG Alignment.” The speaker will be Dr. Fuad Khoshnaw, Professor at the School of Engineering and Sustainable Development, De Montfort University (Leicester, UK), a series editor at Elsevier and a specialist in corrosion, welding, biomaterials, additive manufacturing, and fracture mechanics.

The seminar will be moderated by Nazym Zhunusbekova, PhD in Chemistry, Deputy Director of the Institute of Project Management. Participants will learn how to effectively prepare research articles for international peer-reviewed journals and appropriately align their findings with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
