Satbayev University presented "Digital Aksu" concept to Akimat’s representatives in Aksu city
Aksu city’s delegation visited Satbayev University for a two-day visit, during which there were studied University's innovative elaborations in the field of digitalization of engineering networks, urban planning analysis and management of municipal infrastructure. Scientists and representatives of Kazakhstan's housing and communal services reviewed the concept of "digital asset management system", which aims to manage the city intelligently and increase the efficiency of heat supply, water resources and construction projects.
Program of the first day included visits to the production sites of NERO Group, spinoff company MEMBRANECO, laboratories of Physics and Technology Institute and INSULTECH company, opened as part of the commercialization project. The guests examined the innovative production facilities opened in partnership with Satbayev University, and examples of the introduction of new-generation engineering solutions and materials. On the second day, work continued at Satbayev University, where University representatives presented digital systems that allow them to model and optimize the operation of urban infrastructures. Issues of geodynamic monitoring of the territory, which is necessary to assess the state of urban communications, roads and construction sites, were discussed as well.
Of particular interest were projects to create digital counterparts of heating systems that can predict accidents, optimize the load on pumping stations and reduce costs. Yerzhan Kuldeyev, Vice Rector for Science and Corporate Development, noted that the affordable, high-tech solutions offered by Satbayev University will allow Aksu to reduce accidents and save the city's budget on repairs.
The visit ended with the discussion of potential areas of cooperation. The parties agreed to continue working on joint projects and to consider the possibility of integrating University's developments into Aksu city’s infrastructure.
