Satbayev University researchers now have access to the EBSCO, E-UNI.KZ, and TNT databases

Satbayev University has launched trial access to a number of international and national academic databases, expanding opportunities for students and faculty to work with up-to-date academic and educational literature.

EBSCO

University researchers now have access to EBSCO’s international resources, which contain thousands of academic journals, books, and over 1.5 million dissertations from scholars around the world.

Access has been granted to the following databases:

• Academic Search Complete – one of the largest multidisciplinary databases, including thousands of academic journals, articles, and publications across various fields of knowledge.
• eBook Engineering Core Collection – a collection of e-books on engineering and technical disciplines.
• EBSCO Dissertations – a collection of dissertation abstracts and dissertations containing over 1.5 million publications by scholars from more than 320 universities worldwide.

E-UNI.KZ

Additionally, the university has gained access to the E-UNI.KZ digital library, developed by EDP Hub. The platform brings together thousands of educational and scientific publications, including collections of business literature from Alpina Publisher, world classics in English, as well as contemporary materials on in-demand topics—artificial intelligence, data analysis, robotics, and digital technologies.

The library contains

1. An exclusive collection of business literature from Alpina Publisher (over 450 titles).
2. A collection of world classics in English (Oscar Wilde, F. Scott Fitzgerald, J. R. R. Tolkien, Stephen King, William Shakespeare, O. Henry, over 1,000 titles) 
3. A collection of key publications on in-demand IT fields: AI, Big Data, Data Science, Python, Robotics, Mechatronics, etc.
4. A collection of publications from Kazakhstani universities.

TNT

A welcome addition is the TNT (Thin Knowledge-Intensive Technologies) electronic library system—a database containing educational and scientific literature from the TNT publishing house. The database includes educational and scientific publications across a wide range of fields—from engineering, information security, and mechanical engineering to the humanities and medical sciences. The materials presented are tailored to the university’s priority educational programs and facilitate in-depth study of specialized disciplines.
