Satbayev University, RK MES Industrial Safety Committee and Almaty’s DES have joined forces to improve the strategic industries safety
A trilateral memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing joint educational, scientific and expert initiatives in the field of industrial safety was signed at Satbayev University. The ceremony was attended by Yerzhan Kuldeyev, Vice-Rector for Science and Corporate Development, and Rashid Dubayev, Chairman of RK MES Industrial Safety Committee.
The parties agreed to work together to create and update degree programs for higher and postgraduate technical education, taking into account modern safety requirements. It is planned to implement research projects in the industrial safety sphere in the mining, metallurgical, geological exploration, thermal power, chemical, construction, transport and machine-building sectors.
The partnership also provides for participation in examining the project works, organizing the conferences and seminars, preparing the joint publications, elaborating regulatory legal acts and educational literature, as well as professional advancement.
The memorandum signing was an important step in improving the level of industrial safety and training the engineering personnel for Kazakhstan’s sustainable development. It took place in the new auditorium of “Kanysh Alemi” University, dedicated to the achievements of Kanysh Satbayev, becoming a symbol of the continuity of engineering traditions and responsibility for the safety of the country's industrial development.
