Satbayev University students discussed the draft of the new Constitution of Kazakhstan at the lecture on the state’s human-centered model
There was held the lecture dedicated to explaining the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan at Satbayev University. Master of historical sciences, senior lecturer at Project Management Institute Turlybek Tumabayev explained to the students that the constitutional reform’s principal goal is to ensure the socio-economic evolvement and well-being of Kazakhstan’s citizens in the artificial intelligence era. An individual, their rights, life, freedoms and dignity are proclaimed the highest value, and for the first time a norm on protecting citizens' rights in the digital environment has been established.
The central idea of Basic Law’s new text is education and science, culture and innovation, which highlights the future of our country, where development is determined not by mineral resources and natural riches, but by human capital and achievements of citizens. Education and science act not only as citizens’ fundamental rights, but also as strategic resources for evolving the state, which fully coincides with our university’s mission to train future engineers, scientists and leaders. Satbayev University traditionally focuses on the quality of education, scientific activity and innovation, training specialists who are able to meet the modern world challenges and contribute to Kazakhstan’s growth.
