Satbayev University students left for Turkestan to take part in XIII Summer Universiade

XIII Summer Universiade among students of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan started in Turkestan in International University of Tourism and Hospitality. Universiade will continue until June, when more than 4,000 students from 76 universities will take part.

Satbayev University team takes part in 13 types of sport from 17 ones. It is expected that 120 future engineers will continue to evolve their skills in such sports as chess, taekwondo, basketball, togyzkumalak, volleyball, boxing and Kazakh wrestling.

Satbayev University teams regularly participate in togyzkumalak, Kazakh kuressi, basketball and volleyball tournaments. Universiade will be a great opportunity to demonstrate the sporting spirit, make friends from other regions and help create a culture of active lifestyle in Kazakhstan.
