Satbayev University Students Win Second Place at the International Competition Pi-Synergy 2026

Students of Satbayev University took part in the final of the International intellectual competition “Pi-Synergy 2026 – International Engineering Mindsets Competition.” A total of 29 teams from three countries participated in the competition, competing across several stages and demonstrating engineering thinking, innovative problem-solving skills, and teamwork.

As a result of the competition, the Satbayev University team “EcoFuture” – Inkär Bakytuly, Tamerlan Maksat, Bauyrzhan Serikbay, and Leyla Ovezova, under the supervision of Zhanar Yessenbayeva – demonstrated a high level of preparation, a creative approach to solving engineering challenges, and strong professional competencies in environmental engineering. For their intellectual excellence and innovative approach, the team was awarded a second-degree diploma and a certificate worth 100,000 tenge.

In addition, within the framework of the competition, the nomination “Environmental Idea” was awarded to the Head of the Department of Chemical Processes and Industrial Ecology, Sholpan N. Kubekova.

The participation and award-winning performance of Satbayev University students in this international competition confirm the high level of training of future environmental engineers and demonstrate the strong potential of young specialists in addressing modern environmental and engineering challenges.
