Satbayev University’s professor became a visiting professor at French engineering school Centrale Lyon ENISE

In November 2025, Ruslan Mukanov, associate professor of Mechanical Engineering Department at Satbayev University, became a visiting lecturer at Centrale Lyon ENISE Engineering School in the French city of Saint-Etienne. As part of the international week, he conducted a series of lectures and practical classes on digital manufacturing and CNC machines for students of “Mechanical Engineering’ direction.

Centrale Lyon ENISE, part of the École Centrale de Lyon (France), has been training engineers in the fields of mechanics, construction and sensor engineering for more than 60 years, combining the fundamental engineering training with courses in economics, management and social sciences. The school's programs are focused on modern challenges and are implemented in partnership with industrial companies.

Satbayev University has been represented among ENISE's international partners along with universities in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Slovenia, Spain, Albania and South Africa. This highlights the growing recognition of Kazakhstani engineering education and opens up new prospects for academic exchanges and joint projects.
