Satbayev University’s scientists and young researchers were awarded state scientific scholarships for their contribution to evolving the science and higher education
There was held an award ceremony in Almaty for the best representatives of science and higher education, including scientists from Satbayev University. Kanai Rysbekov became the winner of the state scientific scholarship, Zhansaya Omarova, Yryszhan Zhakypbek and Azat Seitkhan received scholarships for talented young scientists.
Within the framework of the event, scientists and university professors who have made a significant contribution to the growth of national science and higher education system were recognized. Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of RK Science and Higher Education Sayassat Nurbek congratulated the winners and stressed that the award is not only a personal achievement of the laureates, but also a confirmation of the high level of development of science and education in Kazakhstan. He noted that each teacher’s and researcher’s contribution plays a significant role in the country’s sustainable development and formation of the new generation’s intellectual potential.
The scholarships received were a recognition of the systematic work of Satbayev University scientists and their contribution to evolving the priority areas of science. For the university, which has been shaping the country's engineering and scientific elite for more than 90 years, the given achievement confirms the high level of research, the active participation of young scientists in scientific projects and the strengthening of the university's position as one of the leading research centers in Kazakhstan.
