Sparklomats Installed at the University for Recycling Collection

An important environmental project has been implemented at the university — modern Sparklo reverse vending machines have been installed across the campus to promote waste separation culture and support sustainable development. The machines accept plastic bottles and aluminum cans, making recycling simple and accessible for everyone.

The machines are installed in two academic buildings:

  • Oil and Gas Building — 1st floor, lobby
  • Main Academic Building — 1st floor, lobby

This ensures convenient access for students and staff throughout the day. Using the machines is very simple: just insert the container, and it will be accepted automatically. Such solutions help foster environmental responsibility among students and promote waste separation practices within the university. The project was implemented in cooperation with Sparklo, one of the leading companies in technological solutions for recycling.

Users can access the Sparklo mobile application, where they can:

  • register
  • receive bonuses for returned containers
  • use accumulated points with partner companies

The app features a user-friendly interface and provides all necessary information about using the machines.

The installation of the machines is part of the university’s systematic efforts to implement sustainable development principles. This is not only a contribution to improving the environmental situation but also an important step in shaping environmental awareness among students. We encourage all students and staff to actively use the machines and contribute to a more sustainable campus!
