The ACeSYRI Young Researchers School Conference was held at Satbayev University
From June 6th to June 7th, 2023, the ACeSYRI Young Researchers School scientific conference was held at Satbayev University as part of the ACeSYRI Summer School. Young researchers from various countries arrived at this significant event to discuss relevant issues in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence. More than 30 reports were presented during the event.
Professor Patrick Rkut from the University of Žilina, Slovakia, shared his impressions of the conference: "This is my first visit to Kazakhstan, and I am pleased to observe that the event is held at such a high level. The topics and reports that I have listened to are extremely relevant, especially in the field of artificial intelligence, which is being discussed worldwide." The professor also expressed his respect for young Kazakhstani scientists, noting that their level of knowledge is entirely comparable to the level of students from his native country. He left favorable reviews about the friendliness and openness of the locals, as well as noted the beauty and diversity of Kazakhstani cities.
One of the chairs of the conference was Professor Madina Mansurova, who organized the ACeSYRI Young Researchers School section. This section featured presentations from doctoral students from both the al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Satbayev University. All presentations sparked great interest among the listeners.
"The Summer School allowed young scientists to learn about the research of doctoral students from other universities, strengthen their skills in presenting research results, and argue their point of view," shared Professor Mansurova. She also expressed hope for similar events in the future and confidence that the school participants will achieve great success in their research.
The topics of the reports included discussions on the application of artificial intelligence methods, blockchain technologies, automation of technological processes, and other modern approaches in computer science. Conference participants discussed various aspects of these topics, shared ideas and solutions, and had the opportunity to exchange their knowledge and experience with other participants.
Active participants included Ainur Zhumasheva, Yerlan Zaitin, Talshyn Sarsembayeva, Nurdaulet Tasmurzayev, Zhanel Baigarayeva, Nurasyl Zholdas, Yerlan Kistaubayev, Bibars Amangeldy, Galymzhan Abdimanap, Olzhas Akylbekov, and Zhansaya Abildaeva.
The ACeSYRI Young Researchers School Conference has left an indelible mark on the lives of young scientists, stimulating them for further research and exchange of ideas. Professor Mansurova's confidence that such events will become regular confirms the importance of such events for the scientific community, especially for young researchers.
