About the project:
This PhD program is dedicated to analyzing the performance of bio-inspired metaheuristics in order to develop theoretically sound approaches to optimizing these algorithms for solving complex problems. Successful candidates will work in the AI-Theory laboratory under the supervision of Professor Pietro Oliveto, acquiring knowledge in areas such as population-based metaheuristics, hyperheuristics, genetic programming and algorithm tuning.
