We invite you to a lecture on the production of biodegradable polymers

If you are interested in current trends in the development and processing of polymers and biopolymers within the framework of sustainable development goals, then we invite you to a lecture by Dmitry Aleksandrovich Berillo, associate professor of the Department of Chemical Biology, Satbayev University PhD, “Modern methods for the production of biodegradable polymers taking into account the SDGs,” where such issues will be discussed:

• Decomposition rate of polymer waste in the ocean;
• The rate of decomposition of microplastics and its effect on health;
• Mechanisms of biodegradation of polymers, hybrid biodegradable polymers;
• Promising furan and succinate polymers for the synthesis of polyesters or polyamides, as well as polymers of biological origin as an example for sustainable development.
