Almaty to Host the First Kazakhstan–Germany Transport and Logistics Forum: Digitalization, Human Capital, and Transit Potential
Satbayev University, in cooperation with Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) (German Federal Logistics Association) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) (German Agency for International Cooperation), will hold the First Kazakhstan-Germany Transport and Logistics Forum titled “Digitalization, Human Capital, and Transit Opportunities.” The event will take place on May 14, 2026, in Almaty and will serve as a key platform for dialogue between business, academia, and government.
The forum will bring together representatives of ministries of the Republic of Kazakhstan, universities, transport and logistics companies from Kazakhstan and Germany, as well as experts from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan. Participants will discuss the digital transformation of the industry, human capital development, and the utilization of Central Asia’s transit potential, with a special focus on the Middle Corridor route.
The forum aims to foster sustainable partnerships between science, education, and business in the transport and logistics sector of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
As part of the panel discussion “Middle Corridor,” representatives of national operators and industry associations will discuss practical steps to enhance the efficiency of this transcontinental route. A key practical component of the event is the B2B session. The B2B session will enable participants to hold targeted business meetings and identify partners for joint scientific, educational, and commercial projects.
